Saving Garageband files to icloud from ipad

Aloha! I recorded a song on ipad, saved it to the icloud (icloud mark on the right corner of the file in garageband), and then deleted it from ipad to get more space. Then checking icloud it is not there at all. I did the same for several songs, but now I am afraid of deleting them from ipad before I am shure what's the logic here....
